About The Game

Farmer's Story is a visual novel game where you decide the fate of a humble farmer from Benguet, struggling to survive in an exploitative market.

Click through dialogue that trigger choices in the story to decide how to navigate through unfair deals and desperate decisions that will affect your future. Your choices shape his story and every choice leads to different consequences. His survival is in your hands, and it's up to you what path he will take. Unlock a total of 3 possible endings that determine his fate.

About the Project

Beyond the Fields is a hypernarrative project designed to spread awareness on the plight of Filipino farmer's and the many struggles they experience, from market exploitation, unstable prices, and the lack of government support. It features an interactive game where players take on the role of a farmer and make decisions based on real scenarios Filipino farmers make. The project includes a database containing research in the form of blog-style articles, providing users access to multiple topics to learn more about the farmer's situation and how to support them.
